Terms of service
These terms govern access to Scripted’s public website and, where applicable, studio submission and account features.
1. Operator and scope
This website and the Studio workspace are operated by Scripted, Inc., a Delaware corporation, file number 10786949, with its registered office in Delaware at 251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware 19808, United States. Contact: legal@scrptd.io. These terms cover the public website and professional Studio features; they are not a publishing or distribution agreement.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
Studio users must be at least 18 and authorized to act for their studio. Provide accurate information, protect your account credentials and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. Do not upload unlawful material, infringe others' rights, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious software or interfere with the service.
3. Submissions and review
You retain ownership of your submitted materials. You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed to share them, including relevant music, performer and other third-party rights. By submitting materials, you permit Scripted and the service providers supporting its workspace to store, reproduce and view them only as reasonably necessary to operate the workspace, evaluate the proposal and communicate with you about it.
This limited permission does not authorize public distribution, paid advertising, commercial exploitation or AI model training. Any paid test, publishing rights, exclusivity, revenue share or production commitment requires a separate written agreement. A submission or dashboard status does not by itself create a partnership, funding commitment or guarantee of acceptance or revenue. Demonstration projects and figures are illustrative.
4. Website materials and confidentiality
Our website and brand materials remain protected by applicable intellectual property law. A submission does not itself create a separate non-disclosure agreement. If your project requires specific confidentiality terms, arrange those with us before uploading it.
5. Availability and account closure
We may maintain or change the website and may restrict access reasonably necessary to address security incidents, unlawful activity or breaches of these terms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Keep your own copies of your materials. Contact us to close your account or request deletion; the Privacy policy explains applicable retention considerations.
6. Responsibility and disputes
Each party remains responsible under applicable law for its own conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact us first to discuss any concern. Applicable law and the competent courts are determined by the rules that apply to the dispute, without limiting mandatory consumer or data protection rights.
7. Privacy and changes
Read our Privacy policy and Cookie policy. Last updated: 22 October 2026. Material changes will be notified where required; revised submission permissions will not be applied retroactively without an appropriate agreement.
